Thought you could not afford the best – well think again!
I had been given quotes for Bitumen and rubber to replace the roof on my double garage from a number of companies. After doing research on the internet I thought I would not be able to afford the longer life option of Glass Fibre. I tried Advance Roofing Solutions just by chance after seeing the standard of their work on the web site.
Was I surprised.
They gave me a quote over the phone but wanted to check the job on-site before confirming in writing. Most of the other companies either did not come out or when they did just measured the outside size. Steve, however, came out climbed on to the roof and checked it out. He pointed out a couple of minor problems that the others had not seen and adjusted the quote by a small amount. The price was similar, and in one case much better, to the quotes I had received for a Bitumen replacement. Steve confirmed by email the next day and I booked. When my neighbour heard the price he booked as well, so the two jobs could be done together.
They also had a sensible deposit unlike many others that wanted 50% to 66% of the cost up front with a vague promise of a start date.
The time estimate to do the job was correct and the two guys doing the work, Simon and Darren, turned up on time and worked hard all day. Every day they cleaned up any mess they had needed to make followed by a thorough clean at the end. I have to say that they are the best two workers I have used in at least the last twenty years.
Would I recommend them? Well what do you think, I also never write reviews as most of the time jobs or products only meet requirement. This company exceeds in all areas.

ARS did an excellent job on a Topseal flat roof for me. Steve C and Brian were always available via email and phone. Steve C even drove quite a distance to quote a job when he was pretty unwell (another Topseal recommended installer wouldn't even do a site visit and wanted to quote over email...)
The chaps who did the job on-site were excellent.
They are doing another two roofs for me in the next 12 months.
I would have no hesitation in recommending ARS.
